Hiatus

For those who haven't noticed, Mixtape isn't currently active. I forgot to tell everyone this but I'm on vacation in Brazil and will be until the 29th. So Mixtape will be up and running again on July 1st!

Sorry for the delay you guys, but yesterday was Norway's national day! We don't have a name for it, just 17 Mai (May 17th). I sure did eat lots of hotdogs, ice cream and everyone was wearing Bunad, our national suit. I'm so proud to be norwegian ^^

So, the thing is that I actually did make some new cd cover decks, but I am very unsure of the template. Would you like a new template, with only the cd cover and not the text and border all around? I'm not really fond of the text in the bottom of every cd cover card, since it doesn't show anyways. If you comment on this, take 1 regular card, but nothing from the deck you're collecting!

An update on schedule. Wow. I'm amazed.

First, something is new with the donations: You will no longer be able to donate cd covers. The reason is because it's way too simple and it's hard to give out rewards. And that also means that the job hunt has been changed a bit (but only for those who has chosen to be composers). Everything else is as it was.

This has been a very busy week for me, but I managed to update the games and make 9 (!) new decks.

By the way, I need some suggestions for more games. Would you like more music based games or more general games such as "higher or lower", "find the hidden picture" etc?

Grand opening! Hurray for all of us! Well, since this is the superduper grand opening (and we have been longing for that a LONG time now with my empty promises), everyone may take 1 card starting with each of the letters O - P - E - N. Please comment

(Almost) all the games has been added, so feel free to go play. I'll add some more monthly games later and the contests will open by the end of the month. ow do you all feel about an icon and a blend contest? The icons will be used on the updates and the blends will be used as a part of the monthly puzzle which also will be made into a deck. Is this something you would participate in?

I remember some of you requested to have the cards in a non pop-up page, and I have really tried to make it work. My lack of PHP skills doesn't make it very easy, so I haven't figured out how to do it yet. If some of you are willing to help me out, please send me an email, and you will be rewarded with lots of love. Oh, and cards!

I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciated the last comments you guys gave me when someone in my family died. This has been a rough couple of weeks, not only because of the tragedy, but also because someone I really care about has left, and I don't know when I will see him again. On a happier note, I've been accepted at Oxford Brookes, so I'll be moving from Norway to England in the fall. Yay! I've also gotten an extra job, so I don't have much spare time. Still, I am very sorry about how lazy I have been with the updates. I'll try to be more accurate from now on

Someone in my family died last week and I just need some time... I'll be back by the end of the week, and this time, I promise to add all the games and end the prejoin stage.

I've made some changes on the site. Unfortunately, the event isn't done yet (and I was really planning on finishing today too). I'll try to add the rest of the game this week, but don't hate me if it doesn't get finished ^^ The plan is to have the grand opening next Sunday, so be quick to donate and refer members (the donation prizes will be about half of what it is now).

And now to the changes:
- We won't be having the Q&A at each update after all
- The special event cards that you win when you play the event games does now count as only a regular choice deck. That means that you are free to trade the cards just as any other cards. They won't count any more or any less than any other special card.
- The Platinum Albums has been removed. We got a new game instead, The Job Hunt so check it out!
- I have changed "The Stage" to "The Playlist". The Playlist contains, well, a playlist of themed songs that changes every month. Don't forget to head over to the forum to suggest your favorite songs to the playlist
- We have a different trading system. Instead of trader cards, we use trade stamps. The amount to complete such a stamp has reduced from 25 trades to 15 trades.
- This also mean that the amount for leveling up has reduced. Now, you don't need to complete a trade stamp for leveling up before level 4, so if you have 100+ cards, you may now level up to level 3.

I think that's about it. Oh, and there are still a couple of spots left on the Member Favorites, so if you haven't donated an image by now, do it
